Well we have had quite an eventful past week. We had opened a bank account with Wells Fargo about a week an a half ago, and when we went to deposit some checks last Thursday they told us our account had a hard hold on it because somebody else was using Brandon's social security number. That was the first shock. So we were told to got to the social security office and get proof that Brandon was the rightful owner of his social security number. Once we got that on Friday and went back to the bank, our banker noticed that my credit card had been closed, which did not make sense since we had just opened it. When she called the credit card company she found out that it was closed because someone else was claiming my social security number, so they could not verify me. Shock number two. We were told that in order to clear this shock up they needed to fax off a copy of my social security card and my driver's license, or id card. Unfortunately, I have not changed my name on my driver's license so they could not use that and told me I had to get an id card with my new name on it. So we relaxed over the weekend, and then this morning went to the DMV to get my id card. We finally thought everything was going well when the person helping us asked for two documents proving that we were residents of Utah! Shock number 3. Fortunately, I had brought with us every bit of verification or identification that we had received since we came out to Utah, and we were able to use two of those...we considered ourselves to be very lucky. After the DMV we came up on campus and went to Wells Fargo, they copied my id's and deposited our checks and hopefully all will work out well. I am going back later today to make sure that everything worked. Overall it has been a very stressful and eventful past week.
On a good note, Brandon had an interview last week for an internship here in Provo, for the summer, in hopes that he could work at this place next year part-time during school. Last weeks interview was just a pre-interview, and he was called back for a follow-up interview today at 5:00. Hopefully that goes well.
Also we have another inner tube water polo game this Thursday, so wish us luck!!!

Good luck with the interview. I'm glad that everything worked out with the bank.
