Fall is here

Well this past month has been super busy. Phoebe and I flew to South Carolina to attend Time Out for Women with my mom, sister's and aunt. We had a great time and enjoyed bonding with family. Phoebe got to spend a lot of time with some of her cousins which she enjoyed. The day after we flew back we all headed down to Utah for a recruiting trip for Brandon's work. He has been asked a few times now to go recruit at BYU but it hasn't ever been good timing. This time instead of a few days it was going to be a week, as he was asked to recruit at the U of U and BYU. We found out his company had no problem with Phoebe and me tagging along so we made a little trip out of it. We had a good time visiting with family including Brandon's cousins Star, Lakely, Kristen (very briefly) and kids, a couple of my cousins, Trevor, Stephanie, and one of my friends from High School who has a 3 month old little boy. Phoebe and I also got to walk around Temple Square and the City Creek mall though it was raining so we didn't spend too much time there. It was fun to spend time with so much family and I really enjoyed meeting Star, Lakely and Kristen for the first time, even though it was brief. It was a whirl wind week and a half and now we are home and Phoebe is sick. Too much partying for her. We hope she starts feeling better soon as it is no fun to see her not feeling well. 

Phoebe continues to make us laugh with her fun little personality. She likes to be silly but is usually pretty serious when she meets new people. It takes her a little bit to warm up to new people but on the other hand she will walk up to strangers with her arms up ready to be picked up...a little scary, luckily she can't move too fast yet so we can keep a good eye on her.
